BESTANDSAUFNAHME (inventory) is a concept for a 360°-projection in Leipzig’s Grassi Museum of Applied Arts. It was designed for a room located at the end of the museums permanent exhibition which is curated like a journey through design history.
When visitors pass through this room at the end of their visit, BESTANDSAUFNAHME shows them a glimpse of contemporary applied art and design. Therefor images and meta data from popular design blogs are automatically saved into a database regularly. The most recent entries are shown in the projection.
In an alternative concept BESTANDSAUFNAHME gives a preview on products that will be available at the annual Grassi Design Fair (pictures on this page).
